“I met with a man named Kaseem. He was born a Shia Muslim, is now 45 years old, and believed in Christ and openly became a Christian 20 years ago. He lives in California but was visiting friends in Omaha. After Kaseem became Christian, he visited his home, Lebanon, and his wife told his family about his new faith, and his family made him get a divorce and leave the family. Kaseem faces many problems stemming from all this, and so I counseled and prayed for him.
Jeanette is a new student coming to the Peace Center who is from Iraq. Jeanette attends the devotion which Barbara leads. Even though she is Muslim, she loves to hear about Jesus from Barbara. So, for her, this devotion and prayer that is offered for her and others at the devotion have become a highlight of the morning.
